Hi Eddie Ricers, As we enter into another phase of the response to the COVID-19 and assess the impacts on our camps programs and family, it is great to have some good news to share.
After going through some protracted recruitment processes to fill the vacancies at ERC Vic I am pleased to announce that Suzannah Siddles has been appointed to the role of Executive Officer and Amy Hills to the role of Programs Officer.
Suzannah has worked for Edmund Rice Camps Victoria since 2016 as the Volunteer Coordinator and more recently as the Acting Executive Officer. Inspired by her early volunteer experiences with ERC, Suzannah pursued a career as a Social Worker and worked in Family and Youth Services for over 10 years before joining the ERC team. Suzannah is excited to accept the position of Executive Officer and to lead the dynamic and vibrant ERC Vic community of volunteers in its delivery of impactful and heartfelt programs into the future.
Amy has volunteered with ERC Vic for over 10 years, temporarily joining the team in December 2019 as Programs Assistant. Having recently worked in the event emergency planning and management space, Amy is excited to now bring those skills to the Programs Officer Role. Amy continues to be inspired by the powerful impact of the Edmund Rice community and is thrilled to contribute to the planning of life-changing, enriching programs for our participants and volunteers.
Please join me and the rest of the Board in congratulating Suzannah and Amy on their appointments, I am sure you will all do what you can to support and assist them as they make the roles their own.
